In Asturias, the horreo is an iconic structure with a long history. Traditionally, these raised granaries were built to store grain and food, protecting them from moisture and mice. With their distinctive stone pillars and wooden slats, horreos are a symbol of Asturian rural heritage and ingenuity.
On our farm, we have lovingly converted a horreo into a cozy accommodation for two guests. Staying here offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Asturian countryside, surrounded by our orchards, animal friends, and forested landscape. It’s a place to relax, reconnect with nature, while sleeping in a piece of history.
